AHI Research Committee
The aims of the Academy for Healthcare Improvement Research Committee are to increase the amount and excellence of quality improvement research, primarily through:
- Contributing to the development of scientific methods suited to questions and objectives relating to quality improvement
- Providing non-financial practical support to researchers and research groups
- Facilitating network communications among quality improvement researchers
- Providing mechanisms for dissemination of information regarding research methods and findings relevant to quality improvement research
- Fostering the utilization of quality improvement findings
- Preparing students and new investigators for the role of quality improvement researcher
- Promoting the development of funding and other resources for quality improvement research
- Promoting quality improvement as a scientific discipline
