The AHI Research Committee takes a leading role in this exciting period in the development of quality improvement research. Researchers are using a wider range of designs and methods, taking on new collaborative roles, and practitioners are evaluating their own changes making more use of research methods. Research funders are encouraging more innovative research approaches and decision makers are utilizing this useful research.
